I'm Courtney! I am Springfield born and raised (SHS class of 95) and a married mom of two teens. Ryan is 17 and Rachel is 13. My husband Scott has been a public school history teacher for 27 years.

 

I began my career as a teacher in 1999 after graduating from Rosemont College with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I taught elementary in Chester Public Schools then middle and high school at The Concept School in Westtown. I obtained a Master's Degree in Education with Reading Specialist Certification from St Joseph's University and taught until 2007 when my son was born. I spent many years as a stay at home mom and also taught as an adjunct at DCCC for a year and a half. In 2011, after my daughter was born, I entered the direct sales arena and had a successful business with a full time income for over 10 years. I returned to teaching special education at the elementary level in 2023. In 2024, I took an opportunity to work as a part time reading specialist in a private middle school.

After over a decade as a leader and top seller in the network marketing industry, I learned so much about mindset and leadership from top industry experts and publications. Still craving my business life, I decided to bring that content in a fun and empowering format to the generation that needs more communication, face to face conversation skills and less screen time.

In early 2025, I completed a six month ICF accredited program and have received my certification as an Academic Life Coach. ​​
